Whenever I test drive pens I scrawl “does this pen write?” on the scratch paper, which is why I decided to name my office supply blog Does This Pen Write?. I started the blog because I really love office supplies, particularly pens, unlined sketchbooks and quad rule index cards. I am a sucker for cheesy novelty pen and I tend to write about them A LOT. I write about most anything that seems even tangentially related to office supply products. But at my core I’m just a girl on a never ending quest to find the perfect pen.
I use both my GE X5 Power Pro Series 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 15X Optical Zoom and iPhone to shoot pics and unless clearly indicated, the pictures that appear on this site are mine. I’m not a photographer by any means so I can’t tell you what kind of camera to get or even how mine works. I just like taking pictures. You may use images here provided they are not altered in anyway and you credit me with a link back to the post where you found the image. That’s not asking too much is it?
I used to get a lot of swag from companies (which I totally loved) except for the most part I rarely chose to review those items. If you’re one of the companies who makes stuff I love and can’t stop talking about, by all means SEND ME GOODIES. But if you’re like a company looking for some promotion then I’m probably not really your gal. I hate writing reviews of products simply because someone in marketing sent it to me. Does that make me a bad person? Besides, even after giving away a lot of swag to grateful friends and whatnot I still have too much. Not to mention all the stuff I buy myself. Long story short (too late) when I blog about an item it’s because I bought it or my partner gave it to me. You can trust when I blather on about some cheap ass stick pens, nobody’s pulling my strings!
